Nevon Cooper, a junior wide receiver from San Antonio, Texas, is majoring in Kinesiology. He previously attended James Madison High School.
His favorite entertainer is Desi Banks, and his all-time favorite movie is Menace II Society. Nevon enjoys a variety of foods, including fruit, chicken, and pasta. Christmas is his favorite holiday, as it brings a special sense of joy and celebration.
Outside of football, Nevon’s hobbies include working out. On gameday, he has a ritual of bumping music by Boosie to get into the right mindset. He believes one of the greatest challenges for athletes today is overcoming adversity and maintaining a positive mental state.
One of his most memorable moments in sports was winning the SWAC championship. Looking five years down the line, Nevon hopes to be financially successful, have bought his mom a new house, and still be on the path to making it to the league. His dream job involves achieving financial success, securing a new home for his mom, and playing professionally in the NFL.
Nevon chose Prairie View A&M primarily because of its vibrant culture, which he felt was the right fit for him.
