Jaylen Jaquan Stanford, a graduate defensive back from Houston, has transferred from the University of Incarnate Word to Prairie View A&M. He has achieved his Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and is currently pursing a a Master’s in Physical Education. His favorite entertainer is NBA YoungBoy, and he finds motivation in his favorite movie, Hustle & Flow. When it comes to food, Jaylen is a self-proclaimed fry enthusiast, with a love for wings, burgers, and hibachi. He enjoys Thanksgiving for its abundance of food and the opportunity to indulge.

Jaylen’s gameday routine includes relaxation and preparation, with his most memorable moment being a pick-six. He identifies the challenges of the NIL and stipend situation as significant hurdles for athletes, particularly at HBCUs, where funding can be limited. In the next five years, Jaylen aims to secure a championship and possibly transition into coaching. His dream job is to play in the NFL or become a head coach at the college or NFL level.
