Biography
James Wright, a freshman offensive tackle and guard from Centerville, is majoring in Management at Prairie View A&M.
James’s favorite entertainer is Kai Cenant, and he is a fan of the classic film The Godfather. Tacos are his top choice for a meal, and he looks forward to Thanksgiving for the delicious food and cherished family time. Football is both his sport and hobby, reflecting his commitment to the game.
On game days, James follows a specific ritual of eating butter noodles and chicken, then sitting in silence to focus. He identifies bonding with teammates and navigating social media as significant challenges for today’s athletes. One of his standout moments was earning all-state honors during his sophomore year.
In five years, James hopes to be a key contributor to his team’s success. His dream job is to become either a sports agent or a football coach. He chose Prairie View A&M because of the warm, family-like environment and the way the university made him feel valued.
