Biography

2022 SEASON: Bloomfield only played in seven games catching three passes for 109 yards and 1 TD....His longest reception was for 56 yards against Alabama State on Sept. 24....Recorded a season-high of two receptions for 69 yards and vs. Alabama State on Sept. 24.

The fourth-year player expects to push for playing time in the wide receiver rotation in 2021 . . . two-year letterman has 19 career receptions for 362 yards (19.1 avg.) and one touchdown . . . has started nine of 22 career games . . .

 2020 SEASON: Received COVID-19 season of competition waiver . . . appeared in all 10 games in 2020, including nine starting assignments . . . set career highs with 16 receptions for 312 yards while averaging a team-best 19.5 yards per catch . . . his five explosive receptions (20-plus yards) tied for third on the team . . . caught at least one pass in eight games... . had three catches for a career-best 69 yards at South Alabama; his 35-yard grab..in the second quarter set up ULM’s first touchdown . . . scored his first career touchdown on a 35-yard strike late in the third quarter vs. UTEP . . . had a career-high three receptions for 54 yards vs. Texas State . . . hauled in a career-long 54-yard pass on the opening play of the second quarter at Army . . . his four special teams tackles ranked third on the team (3 kickoffs, 1 punt) . . . 

2019 SEASON (RED-SHIRT FRESHMAN): Saw action in all 12 games as a red-shirt freshman in 2019, primarily on special teams . . . ranked second on special teams with eight tackles (4 solos, 4 assists) . . . recorded a season-high four special teams stops (2 solos, 2 assists) at Florida State . . . finished with three receptions for 50 yards (16.7 avg.) . . . had one catch each at Texas State (8 yards), at Georgia Southern (12) and vs. Coastal Carolina (30).

2018 SEASON: Redshirt

 HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL DATA: Two-year starter for Coach Lydell Wilson at Seven Lakes High School in Katy, Texas . . . earned second-team all-district honors as a senior . . . had 22 receptions for 406 yards (18.5 avg.) and four touchdowns . . . had three catches for a career-high 124 yards and two scores vs. Mayde Creek . . . had 19 catches for 481 yards (25.3 avg.) and five TDs as a junior . . . posted two 100- yard receiving games in 2016 . . . caught two passes for 117 yards vs. Morton Ranch, including a 62-yard TD grab . . . had three receptions for 90 yards and a score vs. Strake Jesuit . . . had three catches for 110 yards vs. Obra D. Tompkins, including a 91-yard TD reception . . . also lettered in track and field for the Spartans . . . 2017 district (22.11) and area (22.46) champion in 200 meters.
