Jahiem O’Hara is a sophpomore defensive lineman at Prairie View A&M University, majoring in Construction Science. Originally from Cypress, Texas, he graduated from Cypress Woods High School.
Known by his nickname “Jah,” Jahiem enjoys watching CoryxKenshin on YouTube and has a love for spaghetti. He lists Christmas as his favorite holiday because of the calm atmosphere and cooler weather.
Outside of football, his hobbies include drawing, filmmaking, and photography. On gamedays, he locks in by listening to his dedicated playlist. He believes one of the greatest challenges athletes face today is figuring out what’s best for themselves while still supporting the success of their team.
His most memorable sports moment was in high school when, after switching from the O-line, he made a key tackle following an interception. In five years, he hopes to have saved a substantial amount of money from the hard work he’s putting in now. His dream job is to own and operate a successful construction business.
Jahiem chose Prairie View A&M because of its rich culture and the opportunity to stay close to home.
