Godley Otito Chikere, a sophomore defensive lineman from Houston, is majoring in Kinesiology. He previously attended Fresno State University before transferring to Prairie View A&M.

In his spare time, Godley enjoys playing video games, reading, and working out, finding balance between relaxation and physical fitness. On game days, he follows a calming ritual: calling his mother before heading to the field, taking a reflective walk, and praying to absorb the game’s atmosphere.
Godley identifies the challenge of navigating social media distractions as one of the greatest hurdles for athletes today. Despite the noise, he remains focused on his goals. His most memorable sports moment is from the homecoming game in 2019 against Austin High School, a standout experience in his high school career.
Looking ahead, Godley aspires to earn his college degree and be drafted into the NFL within the next five years. His dream job is to become an NFL player, a goal he is dedicated to achieving. He chose Prairie View A&M for its familial atmosphere, aligning with his values and providing a supportive environment for his athletic and academic pursuits.
