Biography
Donald Thompson III is a redshirt sophomore defensive tackle from Crowley, TX. He is pursuing a degree in Kinesiology and brings his high school experience from Crowley High School to Prairie View A&M.
Donald’s favorite entertainer is Will Smith, and his all-time favorite movie is The Incredibles. He enjoys hot wings and values Christmas as his favorite holiday, appreciating it as a beautiful time of the year. His hobbies include reading and working out, which keep him engaged and physically prepared.
On game days, Donald has a specific routine that includes listening to Rod Wave songs and saying a prayer for his lost loved ones. He believes that mental health is one of the greatest challenges facing athletes today, a topic he takes seriously in his personal and professional life.
One of his most memorable moments in sports was making the varsity team during his sophomore year of high school. Looking ahead, Donald hopes to achieve financial independence and avoid working for someone else, with aspirations of becoming an entrepreneur. He chose Prairie View A&M because the culture felt like home to him, aligning with his personal values and goals.
