Biography

Coby Cavil, a senior wide receiver from Cedar Hill, Texas, is majoring in Kinesiology. He previously played at ULM.

Cody considers his favorite movie is Planet of the Apes. Coby enjoys eating steak and considers Christmas his favorite holiday because it allows him to be with family.

On game days, Coby follows a ritual of playing his personal song and staying off the phone to get into the zone. He identifies media scrutiny as one of the greatest challenges athletes face today. His most memorable moment in sports was scoring back-to-back 99-yard touchdowns in Cowboys Stadium.

Five years down the line, Coby aspires to break records in the NFL and hopes to become a CEO. He chose Prairie View A&M for the better opportunities it offers.
