2022: Started the season as a quarterback, but transitioned into a receiver...finished the season with 161 yards rushing and had 286 receiving yards....when called on to pass Herron went 3-5-1, for 39 yards and one TD.... recorded a season best 94 yards receiving vs. Lamar on Oct. 22.
Hailing from Missouri City, TX, Christiful Herron is a wide receiver and graduate student majoring in Communications. He is a transfer student from Kansas State University.
In his downtime, Christiful enjoys a variety of activities.His favorites include the comedic genius of Mike Epps and the classic film The Temptations. He enjoys eating French fries and seafood, and Thanksgiving holds a special place in his heart—“The sleep after my Thanksgiving plate is unmatched!”
On game days, Christiful follows a simple yet effective ritual. He starts by giving thanks to God, then prepares mentally with music, reviewing game notes, and focusing on keeping his mind clear and ready to perform. For him, the greatest challenge for athletes today is maintaining the fun in the game, as he believes that enjoying the sport is essential to its enjoyment.
