Braelen Mi’kelle Perry is a junior defensive lineman from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, currently pursuing a major in Kinesiology.

Braelen enjoys the comedic talents of Mike Epps and Martin Lawrence, and his favorite all-time movie is Paid in Full. Hot wings are his favorite food, and he treasures Mother’s Day as his favorite holiday for the special time spent with his family. In his leisure time, Braelen is enthusiastic about hunting, playing video games, and basketball.

On game days, Braelen has a ritual of praying and listening to his favorite music to get into the zone. He acknowledges that mental health is one of the greatest challenges for athletes today, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a balanced and positive mindset.

One of Braelen’s most memorable moments in sports was scoring a pick-six during his high school homecoming game. This standout play not only highlighted his defensive skills but also remains a cherished highlight of his football career.

Looking ahead, Braelen aims to position himself for future success and excel in life beyond football. His dream job is to become a professional athlete, and he chose Prairie View A&M because it feels like home, offering the right environment to support both his personal and athletic development.
