PVAMU:  Returning starter at quarterback…will be looked at as one of the team leaders after showing signs of leadership last fall…has the ability to make plays with both his legs and his arm...should have a productive season with a year of playing experience under his belt and another year in Coach Mark Orlando’s system.

2011:  Passed for 1,020 yards and 10 touchdowns…also ran for three touchdowns…ranked eighth in the SWAC in passing average (100.4) and pass efficiency (116.7)…ran for a touchdown and passed for 19 yards off the bench in his first-ever collegiate game versus Bethune-Cookman…started the next weekend at Texas Southern and logged both a rushing and passing touchdown in comeback victory…passed for a season-high 259 yards (22-of-37) and threw two touchdowns in home debut versus Arkansas-Pine Bluff…threw for 242 yards and two touchdowns on 19-of-23 passing and ran for 45 yards on six attempts in win over Mississippi Valley State…rushed for 32 yards but suffered an injury midway through the game against Grambling State in State Fair Classic…returned to action on Oct. 15 at Alabama State but saw limited action…returned to the field at Texas State on Nov. 5 and rushed for 103 yards and threw for 124 yards…went 15-for-25 with a touchdown toss in win at Alcorn State…threw for 110 yards and a touchdown in homecoming loss to Alabama A&M.

High School: Two-star recruit by Rivals.com, ESPN.com and Scout.com...combined to pass for nearly 4,000 yards and 35 touchdowns over the past two seasons…threw for 2,384 yards and 22 touchdowns as a junior and 1,673 yards and 13 touchdowns during his senior season…also rushed for seven touchdowns as a senior…finished his career with a 60 percent completion rating…participated in the 2009 Maryland Crab Bowl All-Star Game…recruited by several Mid-American Conference programs.
