The Prairie View A&M University Department of Athletics will host a press luncheon today at 12:00 p.m. to promote the 30th annual Labor Day Classic football game in the West Club at Houston's NRG Stadium.
Prairie View A&M head coach Heishma Northern and Texas Southern head coach Darrell Asberry will be in attendance along with Prairie View A&M Director of Athletics Ashley Robinson and Texas Southern University Athletic Director Charles McClelland. The press conference will also have several special guests in attendance.
The 30th edition of the Labor Day Classic kicks off at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 31 at NRG Stadium (formerly known as Reliant). The classic makes a return to NRG Stadium after a one-year hiatus and promises to be an exciting one due to the abundance of offensive playmakers involved on both sides of the ball.
Tickets are available at NRG Stadium, Ticketmaster.com, all Houston area Ticketmaster outlets, all Prairie View A&M campuses and the Texas Southern University bookstore. A special ticket price of $10 is also available for youth groups (minimum of 10) while military personnel can purchase tickets for $16 with a valid military ID.
