The Prairie View A&M women's soccer team finished off its spring soccer schedule with two standout games at Sam Houston State on Saturday, April 6. The Lady Panthers finished in a 1-1 tie with Sam Houston State and then defeated Hill College 2-0 in friendly matches.
“Overall I'm pleased with the way we concluded the spring,” Prairie View A&M coach
Abe Garcia said. “We made two strong showings and had a chance to give everybody some playing time. We were able to make improvement from the Texas State Tournament, which gives us confidence going into the fall.”

Angie Guillory scored on a penalty kick in the second half of Game 1 against the Bearkats. Her goal tied the game and neither team scored in the overtime periods. In the 2-0 win over Hill College, junior midfielder

Breanna Powell contributed with a second-half goal as Prairie View A&M piled it on.
