Prairie View A&M sophomore Christine Ngo Gwodog was named to the All-Southwestern Athletic Conference Second Tennis Team after finishing with a 6-1 conference record.
She was left off of the first team list after her stellar season at the No. 3 slot for Prairie View A&M coach John Cochran and a 9-7 record overall as the No. 3 for the Lady Panthers.
Gwodog was the only player to receive All-SWAC honors in a tough pool of competition. Southern swept the first team selections, and 4-3 records by the Lady Panthers' No. 1 Brittany Harrell and No. 5 Jade Daniels were not enough to garner second team awards. Prairie View A&M finished its SWAC season with a 4-3 record and the No. 4 seed heading into the SWAC Tournament.
